We are happy to share the news that have been awarded Raleigh’s Walnut Creek Athletic Complex for our second annual Oak City Swing tournament (June 8-9, 2024). This is a world-class nine field complex, arranged in two connected wheels. This complex was built in 1992 and renovated in 2019, and features 300′ fences, halogen-lit diamonds, skinned infields, and hybrid grass outfields with underground irrigation. Each field has bleachers with shade structures, and the complex also includes eighteen enclosed dugouts, nine covered scorekeeping areas at each field’s backstop and bathrooms located at the center of each wheel.

Walnut Creek has hosted the NCAA Division III Softball Championships, NCHSAA Softball Championships, PONY Championships, North Carolina State Games and the N.C. State University, Shaw University and Saint Augustine’s University softball teams. This complex is reserved for City of Raleigh softball programs and for tournaments – we are excited to have the opportunity to again host our annual tournament at this amazing facility!
